John is a wonderful teacher. His standard of teaching is very high. I am so pleased that I found him for my son. When my son has started lessons with him, I wasn't too convinced about online lessons. I enrolled him anyway just to see how it goes and I was hoping that the situation would be better soon to start face to face lessons. But now it's been 6 months, he is still having online lessons and it's so convenient, I am not looking forward to face to face lessons anymore. My son has completed grade 3 and 4 with distinction within this time, so I would say high standard of teaching was always there. TBH, with my experience, I can assure that it doesn't matter whether online or face to face, it depends on the pupil and the teacher how sincere they are! I would definitely recommend John for anyone who love to learn piano with sincerity.

His teaching method is thorough and instructive, which helps build a solid foundation for kids to develop their interests and skills in playing piano.John is awesome. He has a great attitude and has been very patient in teaching the piano to my daughter.

John is a great Piano teacher. His music teaching methods is fun , smooth and understanding. He always gives good advices to improve each session and keeps/records the student's progress in a diary. He goes over and beyond your exceptions, I was a lucky student as I had the last session in the late afternoon and eventhough the class was for 1hr but we used to continue for another half and hr even more each session. Oh and by the way, if you are also looking for a vocal coach, John is the guy. He is a great singer too and can guide you properly in case you fancy a singing career. Thank you John .

If you really want to see progress in performing piano and subsequently achieve grades at a pace which you have not observed before then i will highly recommend John. His approach to teach 1 hr every week really worked with our kids who both have achieved 2 grades in a short span of 7 months.
He is professional, well structured, provides regular feedback and does not teach to just earn money. If you are serious about piano, can commit to some regular practice, and want to go a long way, then John is the person to contact!

John is an amazing piano teacher! My 9-year-old son was a complete beginner when he started lessons with John. Under his guidance and with his continuos support, my son was able to achieve his grade 1 with a merit within a very short period of time and he is now working on for his grade 2. His teaching strategies help the students to achieve their best. I highly recommend John's piano lessons!

John is an excellent teacher. Under John's guidance, my daughter is preparing for her Grade 3 piano in just 7 months! John not only puts great effort into his sessions but provides various music pieces out of the regular curriculum. He is very thorough in his feedback and motivates my daughter. Simply 10 out of 10!
